Australian Dollar Stays Higher After China Reports CPI Data for February

Australia’s dollar stayed higher after China reported its consumer price index for February. The so-called Aussie traded at $1.0638 as of 12:35 p.m. Sydney time, from $1.0642 before the data was released. The currency closed at $1.0644 in New York yesterday.
